Hi Neil

I trying to get my "Rosenborg" Weather Station to work with my QNAP TS-109. Please do keep me posted about your project.

I'm very interested in getting the numbers into a MySQL database, and creating a webpage with the numbers.

Hello Again

I have been extremely busy lately, and I have just only got a hold of the toolchain for the QNAP. I had to request it from their support. :O)

I think it would be fine with an insert ability. There are as you say many ways to do it. I think I would prefer a version where you could query the DB what the last inserted date and time is, and insert records from that date. But otherwise a flat file to begin with is fine, then you can always code some php to insert the file to the db. The DB I think is better, as it gives possibilities to do averages, min and max functions very easily over different time windows.

I will let you know as soon as I have compiled the Weather station driver for my QNAP. Also I will find the exact model numer and firmware.

Hi there

Now the weather station is running at http://www.lauritsnielsen.dk/weather/ via my QNAP TS-109. Scripts for doing this can be found at http://code.google.com/p/pywws/ - install python and gnuplot on QNAP via IPKG.

Best regards Laurits
